Their first date was in Atlanta – why not shoot their engagement session there? Ashley and Brian’s shoot was on a perfect fall evening in the city. Having just moved to Atlanta myself, I was excited to have South Carolina clients want to come down to my new home. I almost felt like I was on a travel shoot simply because the city is still so new to me! Katie (my wife) and Ashley were on the same dance team in college so I was thrilled when she contacted me about shooting their wedding in April. After their shoot we grabbed dinner at Figo Pasta, one of our favorite Italian restaurants. I really enjoyed getting to know Brian and hanging out with them without a camera in hand. I mean, every shoot should end with good Italian pasta, right?? Their wedding is going to be beautiful and I can’t wait!
After they arrived in Atlanta, we were looking through clothing options and they pulled out a yellow “+” made from posterboard. They had a great idea to incorporate it into the shoot to create their save-the-date image, and I think it turned out pretty cool!
Alright…I couldn’t decide on color or b/w for the next image. So, because of my indecision, I thought I’d see which one YOU like best. What are your thoughts??

These turned out really nice. Good job Chris. Always cool seeing familiar areas.
And I prefer the B&W of the last image.
LOVE the black and white! These are beautiful pictures-can’t wait to see more!
