From around September 2009 until April of 2010, I worked a contract position in the photo studio of TTI, a tool manufacturer in Anderson, SC.  All the glamours of product photography, specifically brand spankin’ new Dirt Devil vacuums, were a regular part of my schedule.  Ok, so maybe it wasn’t exactly a glamorous job, but I’m really thankful for the tons of knowledge I gained.  More importantly, I can now call the people I worked with friends.  One of those people was a guy named Vance, one of the creative designers in TTI’s in-house ad agency.  Long story short, Vance referred two of his co-workers – enter Amy and Brett – to me for their wedding a few months ago.  After a couple of emails, I finally got to meet them one night over a delicious pizza at Summa Joe’s in Anderson.  (If you’ve never had their pizza, definitely give it a shot!)  The snows from Snowpocalypse 2011 finally melted, the weather cleared up, and January gave us an abnormally gorgeous 65º day for their engagement session.

Since Amy and Brett love the lake and being outdoors, we started off at Lake Hartwell in Clemson.  Warm January day by the lake – yes please.

After we finished up in Clemson, we headed back to downtown Anderson to pick up Brett’s daughter, Monet, for a quick “new family” shot.  She told me she LOVES being in front of the camera and she practices her posing.  Brett and Amy might have a future model on their hands! :)

Can’t wait for their wedding in July!
