December 27, 2009 – Sumter, SC…

I was so privileged to capture Jordan & Michael’s wedding in Sumter last week.  Michael has been a good friend of mine since college and I finally got to meet Jordan when I shot their engagement session back in July…

…so when they asked me to capture their wedding, I was beyond excited – kind of like a late Christmas present for me!  They really are an amazing couple.  Their ceremony was held at First Presbyterian in Sumter…

I got to see Jordan’s dress about a month and a half ago when we shot her bridal session so I couldn’t wait to shoot her in it again.  That session is coming to the blog soon.  So hard not to post bridal sessions ahead of the wedding!

Her shoes were one-of-a-kind custom Nike Air Max’s.  So original.  So cool.

Their reception was held at the amazing O’Donnell House just a few blocks from the church.  It’s an old historic house in downtown Sumter and was just renovated.  They finished just in time for Michael & Jordan to host their reception.

Everybody had such a blast at their reception.  Since a lot of their guests were Clemson grads and the reception was during the same time as the Clemson bowl game against Kentucky, they decided to show the game on a tv in one of the rooms.  Touchdown Tigers!!

Michael & Jordan:  Thank you so much for letting me share in your wedding day.  It really was a spectacular night and I can’t wait to see what God holds for you both.
