Some weddings are just a blast.  The band is rockin’, the people are having a great time, nobody wants to leave, and the bride and groom are completely in love with each other – what more could you want?  Carrie and Andy’s wedding was exactly that.  When I first met them, I knew a few things immediately.  They were into detail but still relaxed and ready to have a good time on their wedding day, and we would be friends even after their wedding was over.  Andy is on staff at Devereaux’s, an upscale restaurant in the heart of downtown Greenville, and Carrie owns her own event planning and marketing company, cb events-marketing.  Between the two of them and the industries their careers revolve around, they know how to put on an event!  It’s always a privilege to work with a peer in the wedding industry, but even more of an honor for them to ask you to capture their own wedding.  No pressure!  Their wedding really was an incredible night so I hope you enjoy a glimpse of what I got to be part of!

Andy’s just relaxing a little on the back porch before getting ready for the day.

I loved his 3-piece Banana Republic suit.  Suits on a wedding day are an awesome alternative to a tux.

Carrie was glowing all day!  Definitely a special moment when her father saw her for the first time that day in her dress.

This smile was on Carrie’s face ALL night.  Their joy together was awesome.

The ever amazing Holly of Holly’s Cakes has done it again.  (She’s creating the cake for our wedding next month – can’t wait!)

cb events-marketing designed their reception – incredible!  If you’re looking for someone to plan your reception or other event, give them a call.  They created a chic, relaxed ambiance with an unbelievable attention to detail!

Their reception was at the Huguenot Mill behind the Peace Center.  Exposed vintage brick walls with hardwood floors and open-beam ceilings.  Old mills that are completely renovated are just cool.
